Skyteam replica CT70

I had a lot of seat time on a Trail 70 as a kid. Mine never looked this badass.

Stock for comparison.

My neighbor has one that’s been sitting for decades. It’s in decent shape. I kind of have hinted at wanting to buy it from him but have never said flat out that I want it. What are they worth nowadays?

My friend had a QA50 when we were in high school, I loved riding that thing around his neighborhood. He and my other friend had bigger dirt bikes and since I didn’t have one, I’d ride the QA50.

Just got to whip a Z50, an ST70, and a CT70 around northern Michigan today. Awesome little bikes.

A surprising amount, generally $1-2k for a decent one, and I’ve seen a few as high as $3k.

With summer here I’ve been really itching to get mine back together. I’ve finally got all the moving parts to actually move now, so now it’s just a matter of ordering parts and figuring out what I’m going to have to do custom. Maybe I’ll even have it done soon enough to take it to some shows.

Oddly not too much as non runners. If it’s all there $400-$700 depending on year.

Ha! I went way lower. There were two non runners for $700 as a package here in Chicago.

Before the CT I had a Z50 and my buddy had a QA50. We used to terrorize the neighborhood on them.

Hell yeah! I wish we had more than one of these bikes. I’m still good friends with them, modern technology makes it so easy to keep in touch, and at times we’re like why didn’t we buy another one.

Yeah but.. It can make a great pit bike. At my age and size a 70 would die a horrible death on a trail.

I was thinking more for a running, driving, fairly clean one, although considering the original question you’re probably giving much more useful numbers :p

I’m a cheap bastid. Occasionally that bites me in the arse though.

I’ve never looked into the cost of the clones or restored machines either..

Things nuts, faster than both the bigger bikes. I wish it was mine.
